Referral links
Some posts include our personal referral links for credit cards and other travel products. If you apply or sign up through one of these links and are approved, the issuer may give us a referral bonus, usually points, miles or a statement credit. Sometimes you get a bonus too.
- Using our link never costs you more. The card’s terms, fees and approval odds are set by the issuer and are the same either way.
- Every post that contains a referral link says so near the link.
- You never have to use our links. You can always apply directly on the issuer’s website.
Advertising
We may show display ads on the site in the future. Advertisers don’t choose what we write about and never review our articles before they are published.
Our opinions are our own
- We are not paid by banks, airlines, hotels or rental companies to cover them, and they don’t approve our content.
- A referral bonus never changes our rating of a product. We point out the downsides of cards we hold and refer.
- When we write about our own trips, statuses and benefits, it is our real experience, and your mileage may vary.
- If we ever have another business relationship with a company we write about, we will say so in that article.
Accuracy
Card benefits, fees, award prices and promotions change often. We label figures with the month we checked them and link to our sources. Always confirm the current terms with the issuer or program before you apply or book. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal or medical advice.
