Hilton Honors is giving you 120% more points when you buy them online right now, and that brings the price down to roughly 0.45 cents per point.

Hilton is promoting it on its own offers page as “Say yes to 120% more Points this fall.” Several deal sites that track these sales call it Hilton’s biggest buy-points bonus to date.

The details (as of October 31, 2026)

  • Bonus: 120% extra points on online purchases of 5,000 points or more. The 120% bonus is shown on Hilton’s offers page; deal-site reports say some accounts may see a different, targeted bonus, so check what your account shows before paying.
  • Deadline: November 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, per reports on the sale.
  • Price: about 0.45 cents per point after the bonus. Reported example: 85,000 points for about $382.50.
  • Limit: Hilton’s help center lists a standard limit of 160,000 points a year. Reports say the cap was raised for this sale to 240,000 before the bonus (528,000 with it).
  • Posting time: Hilton says purchased points post within 48 hours.
  • Fine print: Purchases are processed by Points.com, so they generally don’t count as a Hilton or travel purchase on your credit card. Bought points don’t count toward elite status.

Prices and promo terms can change at any time, so confirm the bonus and total in the checkout screen before you pay.

How to buy

  1. Log in to your Hilton Honors account on hilton.com or in the Hilton app.
  2. Go to Points, then choose Buy Points under “Do More with your Points.” You can also use the Buy Points link on Hilton’s offers page.
  3. Pick an amount of at least 5,000 points and check that the 120% bonus shows in your total.
  4. Confirm your email, accept the terms and pay.

Who it’s good for

This is for you if you’ve already found a Hilton award night and you’re a little short, or the cash rate is high enough that paying around 0.45 cents a point beats it. Here’s the quick math: if a night costs 85,000 points, buying them runs about $382.50. If that same room is going for $450 or more in cash, you come out ahead. If it’s $300 cash, you don’t.

It also helps if you’re topping off for a longer stay. Hilton elites (Silver and up) get the fifth night free on standard room awards, which stretches every point a bit further.

Our take

At about 0.45 cents a point, this is a strong price for Hilton points, but only buy them for a trip you’ve already priced out.

Hilton points aren’t worth much each, and Hilton uses dynamic award pricing, so a night that costs 60,000 points today could cost more later. Points bought “just in case” can lose value fast. The smart play is to search the award first, compare it to the cash rate, and only then buy exactly what you need.

We’d book this for a pricey city night or a resort stay where cash rates run high. We’d skip it if you’re paying for cheaper roadside hotels, where cash is usually the better deal, or if you’re hoping the points will count toward status. They won’t.
