World of Hyatt’s fall promotion pays 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights you stay, up to 36,000 bonus points. It runs through December 15, 2026, and you have to register first. Unlike a lot of hotel promotions, award nights count too, and the nights don’t have to be in a row.

The bonus works out to roughly 1,000 points per night, but only in blocks of three. Two nights earn nothing on their own; a third night at any participating Hyatt (even weeks later) completes the block. Reservations you made before the promotion started still count, but only nights completed after you register qualify, so register before your next stay.

What counts

According to the terms as quoted by Frequent Miler, an eligible night is “any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.” Based on the terms and multiple reports:

  • Participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide qualify.
  • Participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt qualify when booked through Hyatt’s own channels.
  • Award nights booked with points count. View from the Wing reports that free night certificate stays count as well; that matches the wording of the terms, but confirm on Hyatt’s offer page if you’re counting on it.
  • Only the room you occupy counts, even if you book more than one.
  • Your World of Hyatt number has to be on the reservation (or added at the hotel before checkout).

A stay that starts before December 15 and runs past it can still earn credit for the nights through December 15, according to Frequent Miler’s reading of the terms. The promotion is also reported to stack with other offers unless another offer says otherwise.

Who it helps and what to do

  • Everyone with a Hyatt stay before December 15: register now on Hyatt’s 3K bonus points offer page. It’s free.
  • Points travelers: because award nights count, a three-night award stay can earn 3,000 bonus points back. That’s a small rebate on points you were already spending.
  • Frequent travelers chasing status: the promotion pays bonus points only. It doesn’t add elite qualifying nights, so don’t count on it to move you toward status.

Our take

This is a solid, easy promotion, especially because award nights count. If you value Hyatt points around 1.5 cents each, as One Mile at a Time does, each 3,000-point bonus is worth roughly $45, or about $15 per night.

The catches: the three-night blocks mean leftover nights earn nothing, the 36,000-point maximum requires 36 eligible nights by December 15 (realistic only for heavy travelers), and the bonus isn’t big enough to justify choosing a Hyatt you wouldn’t otherwise book. Treat it as a nice extra on travel you already have planned. Register, make sure your member number is on every reservation, and check that the points post a few weeks after each stay.
