World of Hyatt is paying 3,000 bonus points for every three nights you stay through December 15, up to 36,000 points, and award nights count just like paid ones.
The details (as of Oct. 24, 2026)
- The bonus: 3,000 points for every three eligible nights, capped at 36,000 points. That cap takes 36 nights to hit.
- Stay window: Sept. 29 through Dec. 15, 2026. Only nights you complete after registering count. If a stay runs past Dec. 15, the nights before the cutoff still count.
- Registration: required before your first eligible stay, and it closes Dec. 15. Reservations you made before registering are fine.
- Award nights: eligible, along with paid nights at eligible rates.
- No hurdles: the nights don’t have to be consecutive, and there’s no minimum stay length.
- Where: participating Hyatt hotels worldwide, plus participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, The Venetian Resort and Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt (those three must be booked through Hyatt).
- Fine print: book directly with Hyatt, and only one room counts toward the promo. Bonus points are reported to post within two to three weeks of a completed stay.
Promotions and their terms can change quickly, so check the official offer page before you plan around it.
How to sign up and book
- Sign in to your World of Hyatt account on hyatt.com or in the app. Joining is free if you’re not a member yet.
- Go to the 3K Bonus Points offer page and register.
- Book directly on hyatt.com or the Hyatt app, with cash or points. Reservations you already have will count once you’re registered.
- After each stay, keep an eye on your account activity for the bonus.
Who it’s good for
Anyone with Hyatt nights already on the calendar before mid-December, like Thanksgiving trips, work travel or a points redemption you were booking anyway. Since award nights count, you earn bonus points while spending points, which doesn’t happen often.

Our take
If you’re staying at Hyatt anyway, register today, because it’s free points for doing nothing different.
Here’s the math. The bonus works out to 1,000 points a night. Hyatt is currently selling points at about 2.08 cents each in its own points sale, so at that price the bonus is like getting roughly $21 back per night. We’d value the points a little lower than that, but even at our rough 1.5 cents each, you’re looking at about $15 a night on top of your normal earnings.
Now the catch: it pays in blocks of three. A two-night weekend earns nothing on its own, and five nights earns the same 3,000 as three. So if you’re sitting at two or five nights, adding one more night somewhere could be worth it. Just don’t pick a pricier Hyatt over a cheaper hotel only for this, since $15 a night won’t cover much of a rate gap.
We’d skip chasing it if you don’t have Hyatt plans before Dec. 15. There are only about seven weeks left, and nobody’s hitting the 36,000-point cap without a lot of travel.
