The deal: Register for Hilton Honors’ fall “More Points to Play” promotion and you’ll earn 1,000 bonus points on every eligible stay, or 3,000 bonus points at more than 1,000 luxury, lifestyle, resort and all-inclusive hotels, with no cap, through December 31, 2026.
Key details (as of Oct. 22, 2026)
- Stay window: Oct. 15 through Dec. 31, 2026. What counts is the check-out date, so a stay that runs past Dec. 31 won’t qualify.
- Bonus: 3,000 points per stay at hotels on Hilton’s eligible-property list. Every other stay earns 1,000 points.
- Who’s in the 3,000-point tier: Hilton’s list includes Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Canopy, Motto, Graduate, Tempo and YOTEL, many Curio, Tapestry and Outset Collection hotels, and many resort properties (including some DoubleTree and Embassy Suites resorts). Check the list for your specific hotel.
- No minimum stay length and no cap: a one-night stay earns the same bonus as a week-long stay, and you can earn the bonus as many times as you have stays.
- Award stays count, according to the promotion’s terms as reported by several loyalty sites.
- Registration: required before your first eligible stay. No promo code is needed, and stays you booked before registering still count.
- Posting: bonus points are reported to post within about six to eight weeks.
Promotions can be changed or ended early, so read the full terms on Hilton’s site before you book.
How to book
- Sign in to your Hilton Honors account on hilton.com or the Hilton Honors app.
- Open the More Points to Play offer page and click Register.
- Check the eligible-property list if you want the 3,000-point bonus.
- Book directly with Hilton (website, app or the hotel) with your Honors number attached, for a check-out on or before Dec. 31.
- After your stay, watch your account activity for the bonus.
Who it’s good for
Travelers who take several short Hilton stays before year-end will get the most out of this one, such as holiday road trippers splitting the drive with one-night stops or business travelers doing quick overnights. Award travelers get a small rebate on nights they’re paying for with points anyway. And if you were already eyeing a Curio, Tapestry or resort property for a holiday getaway, the 3,000-point tier is a nice tiebreaker.
Our take
This is a modest promotion, not a blockbuster. Hilton points are commonly valued at well under a cent each, so 1,000 points is worth a few dollars and 3,000 points is worth roughly $10 to $15. Hilton has run richer double-points promotions in past years, and one loyalty site summed this one up as “barely better than nothing.” Still, it costs nothing to join, has no cap, counts award stays, and pays the same on a cheap one-nighter as on a long stay, so it rewards frequent short trips most. Don’t change hotels or pay more just to chase it. Register now so you don’t forget, then let it add up in the background. As always, prices and availability change quickly, and Hilton can modify the offer.
