The deal: Book four or more consecutive nights at a participating Marriott Bonvoy property in the Caribbean, Latin America or Mexico through Vacations by Marriott Bonvoy by October 31, 2026, and you’ll earn 20,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points on top of what the stay normally earns.
Key details (as of October 23, 2026)
- Bonus: 20,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per qualifying booking.
- Booking window: October 1 to October 31, 2026, and the reservation must be made through Vacations by Marriott Bonvoy (not a regular Marriott.com hotel booking).
- Travel dates: October 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027, which covers Thanksgiving, the winter holidays and spring break season.
- Minimum stay: Four or more consecutive nights at the same hotel. Splitting four nights across two resorts won’t qualify.
- Where: Participating Marriott Bonvoy properties in the Caribbean, Latin America and Mexico.
- Points posting: Within one to two weeks after checkout.
- Fine print: Marriott Bonvoy members only; groups of 10 or more rooms are excluded; rooms are limited; blackout dates may apply; it can’t be combined with certain other offers or applied to existing reservations; and Marriott says the offer can change at any time. Some deal trackers report the package must include a flight or rental car, so confirm what your package needs to qualify before you pay.
Prices and availability change quickly, and package rates vary widely by resort and date, so check the live booking flow rather than relying on any quoted figure.
How to book
- Log in to your Marriott Bonvoy account (or join free) so the booking is tied to your member number.
- Open the Caribbean & Latin America offer page on vacationsbymarriott.com (linked below).
- Pick your destination and dates, making sure you have at least four consecutive nights at one participating hotel, and add a flight or car if the booking flow requires it.
- Before paying, compare the package total against booking the same hotel and flight separately.
- Complete the booking by October 31, 2026 (don’t leave it to the last evening), save your confirmation, and watch for the bonus one to two weeks after checkout.
Who it’s good for
This works best for anyone already planning a winter beach trip of four nights or more: families eyeing Mexico or the Caribbean over the holidays or spring break, and couples who’d rather book flight and resort in one go. Check which resorts in your target destination are participating before you get attached to one. It’s less useful if you plan to stay on points, if your trip is shorter than four nights, or if you’re hopping between hotels.

Our take
Twenty thousand points is a meaningful kicker. Using common valuations of roughly 0.7 to 0.8 cents per Marriott point (our estimate, not Marriott’s), that’s around $140 to $160 in value, and it can cover a good chunk of an off-peak award night at many Marriott hotels. The bonus is flat, so it’s worth the most on a modest four- or five-night trip rather than a pricey two-week one.
The catch is that the bonus only matters if the package price is competitive. Packages can hide markups, and booking through a vacations portal may limit how elite benefits, cancellation terms and changes work compared with a direct hotel booking. Price the trip both ways; if the package is within about $100 to $150 of booking separately, the bonus likely tips it in your favor. If not, skip it. With only about a week left to book, don’t wait if a trip is already on your calendar.
