Marriott Bonvoy’s fall global promotion is running now, and there is still time to sign up. Members who register can earn 1,500 bonus points on paid stays of two nights or more, plus another 3,000 points when the stay is at a participating resort. That’s up to 4,500 bonus points per stay, with no cap on the number of stays.
It isn’t a huge offer, but if you already have fall travel booked with Marriott, registering takes a minute and costs nothing.
Key details (as of October 2026)
| Register by | November 13, 2026 |
| Stay dates | September 22 to November 22, 2026 |
| Minimum stay | 2 consecutive paid nights on the same reservation |
| Base bonus | 1,500 points per eligible stay |
| Resort bonus | 3,000 extra points per eligible stay at a participating resort |
| Maximum per stay | 4,500 points |
| Limit on stays | None reported, but only one room per stay counts |
You register on Marriott’s promotion page while logged in to your Bonvoy account. Register before the stay you want to count. A stay that crosses the start or end date of the promotion can still qualify as long as at least one night falls inside the September 22 to November 22 window, according to reports on the terms.
What doesn’t count
The promotion is for paid, points-eligible rates. Based on the terms as reported by several outlets, these are excluded:
- Award stays, free night certificates and Cash + Points bookings
- Most bookings made through online travel agencies and other third parties
- One-night stays, including back-to-back one-night bookings that aren’t on the same reservation
- BVLGARI hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments and owner-occupied vacation club weeks
- Members who choose to earn airline miles instead of Bonvoy points on their stays
Marriott doesn’t publish a simple list of which “resorts” qualify for the extra 3,000 points. The reported guidance is to use the resort filter on Marriott’s site and confirm with the hotel if the resort bonus matters to your decision. We’d treat the resort bonus as likely, not guaranteed, until it posts.
When the points post
The 1,500-point base bonus is reported to post within about 10 business days of checkout. The 3,000-point resort bonus can take up to eight weeks after the promotion ends on November 22, which means some members may not see it until around mid-January 2027. Keep your folios and confirmation numbers in case you need to ask Marriott to fix a missing bonus.
Who should register
- Anyone with a paid Marriott stay of two or more nights before November 22. There’s no downside to registering.
- Travelers heading to a resort this fall, since that’s where the bonus is meaningful.
- Road warriors with one-night stays won’t earn anything from this offer. Check your Bonvoy account’s Promotions tab anyway, since some members are seeing separate targeted offers with different rules.
One more tip: book directly with Marriott (Marriott.com, the app or the hotel). Booking through a third-party site is the easiest way to accidentally lose the bonus, along with your elite night credit and status benefits.
Earning more on paid Marriott stays? A co-branded Chase Marriott Bonvoy card earns bonus points on Marriott spending on top of what you earn as a member. If you’re considering one, you can apply through our Chase referral link.

Our take
This is a “register and forget” promotion, not a reason to plan a trip. If you value Bonvoy points at 0.6 to 0.8 cents each (a common range among points blogs), 1,500 points is worth roughly $9 to $12, and the full 4,500 points is worth roughly $27 to $36 per stay. That’s nice to have, but it’s modest compared with some past Marriott promotions that paid bonuses per night.
The downsides are real: one-night stays earn nothing, award nights don’t count, the resort list is vague, and the bigger bonus may take months to post. Still, if you have a two-night paid stay on the calendar, especially at a resort, register now so you don’t leave free points on the table. The registration deadline is November 13, 2026.
