Best Western Rewards is paying double points on every qualifying stay at Best Western hotels worldwide through December 31, 2026, and there’s no cap on how much bonus you can earn. You just have to register before you check in.

The key details (as of October 27, 2026)

  • The offer: a bonus equal to the base points you earn on each stay, so you’re earning double.
  • Stay dates: qualifying stays between September 8 and December 31, 2026, completed by December 31.
  • Registration: required before your first qualifying stay. Stays you finish before registering don’t count. If you’re not a member yet, joining registers you automatically.
  • Where: any Best Western-branded hotel worldwide (Best Western says that’s more than 4,000 hotels).
  • Cap: none. Best Western’s terms say there’s no limit on the double points you can earn during the promotion.
  • Base earning: 10 points per dollar at most hotels and 5 per dollar at extended-stay hotels, per Best Western’s FAQ. Points don’t expire.
  • Fine print: stays booked through online travel agencies, tour operators or special discounted rates don’t qualify, and it can’t be combined with other offers. Your earning preference has to be set to Best Western Rewards points, not airline miles. The bonus posts about two weeks after your base points.

One heads-up: the offer page still has a leftover line mentioning November 30, 2025, but the main offer text, FAQ and terms all say December 31, 2026. Promotions and terms can change quickly, so check the page before you book.

How to book

  1. Go to the Double Points offer page on bestwestern.com and sign in, or join Best Western Rewards for free.
  2. Register for the promotion. Do this before your stay, not after.
  3. In your account, make sure your earning preference is set to points.
  4. Book directly on bestwestern.com, the Best Western app or by calling the hotel, at a rate that earns points. Skip the travel-agency sites and deep-discount rates.
  5. Stay by December 31 and look for the bonus about two weeks after your base points post.

Who it’s good for

This one’s for road-trippers, people driving to see family over the holidays, and anyone who works in towns where the big chains are thin on the ground. If Best Western is already the hotel off your exit, you might as well get paid twice for it.

Here’s the quick math. Say you book three nights at $140 a night. That’s $420, or 4,200 base points at 10 per dollar. With the promo you’d get another 4,200, for 8,400 total. Not life-changing on one trip, but because there’s no cap, it adds up fast over a holiday season of driving.

Our take

If you’re already staying at Best Western between now and New Year’s, this is an easy yes. It takes about a minute to register, it covers every stay instead of just one, and there’s no ceiling.

Here’s the catch: you have to book direct at an eligible rate, so if a travel site is showing you a cheaper price, do the math before you switch. And double points on a mid-priced room still isn’t a huge pile of points. We’d register today if you’ve got a road trip on the calendar. We wouldn’t pick Best Western over a hotel you’d honestly prefer just for this.
