Air France-KLM’s Flying Blue program posted its November Promo Rewards, and this month there’s a lot for U.S. travelers. You get 25% off the mileage price on a list of routes between Europe and North America, including Air France business class between New York-JFK and Europe from 45,000 miles one way. You’ve got to book by November 30, 2026, and the trips can run through April 30, 2027.
That travel window covers winter and early spring in Europe, which is quieter and cheaper on the ground. It doesn’t cover the summer peak, so if you’re thinking about June in Paris, this one isn’t for you.
What’s on sale from the U.S. (as of November 2026)
These are the one-way “from” prices reported by One Mile at a Time and The Points Page, both pulled from Flying Blue’s promo list. Each route can be booked in either direction, between Europe and the U.S. city listed:
- Air France business class, New York-JFK: from 45,000 miles
- KLM premium economy, San Diego: from 30,000 miles
- Air France economy, Chicago-O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles and Washington-Dulles: from 18,750 miles
- KLM economy, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Minneapolis and Portland, Oregon: from 18,750 miles
- Flying Blue Extra members only: Air France economy to Miami, also from 18,750 miles
For comparison, One Mile at a Time lists the normal starting saver prices as 25,000 miles in economy, 40,000 in premium economy and 60,000 in business, so the promo math lines up with a straight 25% cut. Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa are on the list too if you’re near the Canadian border.
Two things to keep in mind. First, the discount only applies to miles. Taxes and fees aren’t discounted, and Upgraded Points estimates they run roughly $200 to $300 each way on these routes, though the real number depends on your route and direction. Second, these are “from” prices. Flying Blue pricing moves around, so you’ll only see 45,000 or 18,750 on dates where that inventory is open.
Here’s the catch: these are Light fares
Since September 8, 2026, Flying Blue award tickets come in three versions: Light, Standard and Flex. The promo prices are for Light. According to The Points Page, Light economy and premium economy awards don’t include a checked bag and can’t be voluntarily changed or refunded, and Light business awards don’t include lounge access unless you get in another way, like elite status.
You can pay more miles for Standard or Flex and get those things back. One Mile at a Time gives the example of the 45,000-mile Light business award costing 56,250 miles as a Standard fare. Flying Blue Platinum members get most Standard perks automatically on Light awards. If you’re not Platinum, check exactly what your fare includes before you hit book.
Who should look at this
If you live near JFK and want a lie-flat seat to Europe this winter or spring, this is the headline deal. If you’re near one of the economy cities, 18,750 miles each way is a solid price, but only if your plans are locked in and you can live without a free checked bag.
You don’t need a pile of Flying Blue miles already. Flying Blue is a transfer partner of all the big U.S. bank programs, including Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou, Capital One and Bilt. Just search for space on the Air France or KLM site first and only transfer once you see the exact flight you want, since transfers can’t be reversed.

Our take
The JFK business class price is the one we’d jump on. Paying 45,000 miles plus taxes for a lie-flat seat across the Atlantic is a good use of points, and it’s well under what most U.S. programs charge for the same trip.
The economy deals are more of a judgment call. Saving 6,250 miles off a 25,000-mile ticket is nice, but once you add a couple hundred dollars in fees and maybe pay for a bag, the gap between this and a cheap winter cash fare can get thin. Run the cash price before you transfer anything.
We’d skip it if your dates are still up in the air. Light awards can’t be voluntarily changed, so a promo price that locks you in isn’t much of a bargain if you end up eating the ticket. And for the business class deal, remember that Light means no lounge unless your status or a card gets you in.
