If you run a small business and your team stays at Hyatts, this one’s for you. Hyatt has relaunched Hyatt Leverage, its discount program for small and midsize companies, on a new booking platform. And to get people signed up again, it’s paying double World of Hyatt points on Leverage-rate stays through the end of the year.

Here’s the catch up front: this isn’t a promo you can register for with one click. Your company has to be enrolled in Leverage, and even businesses that already used the program may have to apply again.

What Hyatt changed

Hyatt Leverage has been around since 2018. It gives eligible small and midsize businesses negotiated rates at participating Hyatt hotels. When it launched, Hyatt said the discount was up to 15% off standard rates. Hyatt’s newsroom announced the “enhanced Hyatt Leverage platform” on October 30, 2026. Here’s what the new version looks like, as of November 2026:

  • New booking tool: The platform runs on Spotnana, a travel technology company. It puts bookings, travel spending and payments in one place, covering more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels across Hyatt’s brands.
  • Points for travelers and admins: Employees and the company’s program administrators earn World of Hyatt points on eligible stays. Upgraded Points also reports that administrators can earn tier-qualifying nights toward Hyatt elite status from employees’ stays.
  • Re-enrollment may be required: Upgraded Points reports that past Leverage companies may need to reapply, and Hyatt has to verify eligibility before confirming. Signing up reportedly requires a work email address and a company website. Gmail addresses aren’t accepted.
  • Volume requirement: The program’s standard rule is at least 50 actualized room nights a year. Upgraded Points reports that Hyatt is waiving that requirement for 2026.
  • Booking channels: Leverage rates can’t be booked through travel agencies, consortia or other online booking tools.

The double points promo

Both Upgraded Points and LoyaltyLobby report the same terms for the relaunch offer:

  • Offer: 2x points on qualifying stays booked at the Hyatt Leverage rate
  • Book by: December 30, 2026
  • Stay by: December 31, 2026
  • Cap and registration: Neither outlet mentions a cap or a separate registration step. We couldn’t find Hyatt’s full promo terms, so check them before you count on the bonus.

Hyatt members normally earn 5 base points per dollar on eligible room spend. If this works like Hyatt’s other double points offers, that doubles to 10 per dollar before any elite bonus. Hyatt hasn’t spelled out the math publicly, though, so treat that as our reading, not a promise.

Who this matters for and what to do

This is for business owners, office managers and anyone who books travel for a smallish company. If you’re a solo traveler paying your own way, there’s nothing here for you.

  • Already on Leverage? Log in to the new platform at hyatt.com/leverage soon and see if you need to reapply. You don’t want to find out mid-December that your rate code is dead.
  • New to it? Apply with your work email and company website. Verification takes time, and the promo window is only about two months.
  • Compare rates every time. A Leverage rate isn’t always the cheapest one, so check it against the public rate before you book.

Our take

This is a good relaunch for small businesses that already lean on Hyatt, and the double points are a nice push to sign up.

Here’s why. Most small companies never get a negotiated hotel rate. Leverage hands them one and still lets employees earn points. The reported 2026 waiver of the 50-night minimum is the part we like most, because it lets a five-person firm try the program this year without worrying about hitting a quota. Admins earning tier-qualifying nights from team stays is a quiet perk too, if that’s how Hyatt applies it.

Now the downsides. The re-enrollment hassle is real, and so is the no-Gmail rule. Plenty of tiny businesses run on personal email. The promo window is also short once you subtract approval time. And the bigger issue: Hyatt’s footprint is much smaller than Marriott’s or Hilton’s, so a Hyatt-only rate won’t help if your team travels to places without one.

We’d sign up if your company books a few Hyatt nights a month and you can get approved quickly. We’d skip it if your team rarely stays at Hyatt or books mostly through a travel agency, since those bookings don’t qualify anyway. And one more caution: the program terms could still change, especially the 50-night waiver after 2026, so read the current rules before you sign up.
